Kourtney is a native Floridian, born in 1994. She attended Monarch High school in Coconut Creek, and graduated with honors in 2012. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, English Honor Society, Women of Tomorrow, Key club, and Career Association. She played on the coconut creek girl’s rec team for four years and worked at a chiropractic office in administration and helped with patient therapy set up. Currently, Kourtney attends Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. She is graduating in 2016 with her BS in Exercise and Sports Science. During her time at Nova she was a member of the Women’s rowing team freshman year, has been awarded the status of Deans list, is Secretary of the Exercise and Sport Science Organization and Vice president of the Pre Physical Therapy club. Outside of school, Kourtney has worked since 2012 at MST gym performing various support duties such as video analysis of athletes form, updating athlete program folders and helping as needed with basic training on form and techniques. She also has been a volunteer coach for girl’s basketball for four years. Her goal is to become a physical therapist specializing in young athletes.
