Michael is a multi-sport athlete that has competed in and continues to compete and excel in a variety of sports. Although he played some sports growing up, his first experience with serious competition came as a member of Central Florida Rowing in Orlando. Eventually becoming team captain and club president, Michael helped coached novice rowers and led his team to great results in State, Regional, and National regattas.
Michael eventually moved to South Florida where he obtained his BS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University. While there he became the Fitness Manager of FAU Campus Recreation, successfully started many small group training programs, coached novice runners from a variety of backgrounds, and served as the head Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. Michael was also a speaker at the EVOLVE Fitness Conference in 2014, speaking on keeping individuals motivated. Michael is currently pursuing his MS in Health Promotion and his CSCS certification.
Michael joined MST as an intern in December 2014 and began working as a Sports Performance Coach full time after graduation in 2015. Michael believes that training seriously for a sport creates character, motivation, discipline, and develops a hard working attitude. Through MST, Michael gets to help a variety of athletes develop into not only the best athletes they can be, but the best people.
Michael currently trains for and competes in triathlon and all 3 disciplines separately. Michael's future athletic goals include making All American status in triathlon and qualifying for both National's and World's.
